Who are Riding Clubs in Scotland?
Riding Clubs in Scotland is the body that represents riding clubs as a member of the
Scottish Equestrian Association.
The committee of Riding Clubs in Scotland is made up of members of the two Scottish Area Committees.
Riding Clubs that have affiliated to
British Riding Clubs are organized geographically
into Areas. Area 1 is the south of Scotland. Area 22 is the north of Scotland
The role of the Area is
to co-ordinate inter-club activity, especially competitions and training, to
assist Clubs in their work and to communicate between Clubs and British Riding
Clubs.
Each Area has a Liaison Committee made up of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and
Training Officer who serve for 2 to 3 years. There is also a Liaison Officer
who sits on the Riding Clubs National Executive Committee. To find out who these
